Una infraestructura portuaria desaparecida: los muelles del arrabal de Errenteria a lo largo de la Edad Moderna (1500-1700)

Abstract

Historically, the guipuzcoan bay of Pasaia has been an important port, which saw the development of differents port spaces. One of them was the long and dissapeared dock, placed at the town of Errenteria, which started its construction at the end of XVth century. Historiographically the element has not been so relevant, however, descriptions of the town and maps of those times emphasised it. In fact, the agreements of the local goverment show it as dynamic element, and give us information about its use, importance, improvement works or damages. Taking those sources, next lines will try to study that dock.
