Abstract

Here we have document number 12 of the Appendices to Documents which we were unable to include in our monograph “The civil hospitals of Bilbao. 1409-2008. Homage to Basurto Hospital on its 100th anniversary”. It is a legal report written by the lawyers Juan Luis Beltrán de Aguirre and Pedro María Larumbe Biurrun, at the request of the Health Council of the Basque Government, about the legal reconversion of Basurto Hospital. It details with a judicious approach the trajectory of the Hospital and its relation with the Council in Bilbao, and the options for its integration into the Basque Health Service.
