Resumen

ABSTRACT

Due to the influence that literature can have on the reader, this study has analyzed male and female models and images by means of gender stereotypes transmitting modern basque literature and children’s literature. From the 1980s to the present we have been able to discover the evolution of these models and images, following the literary feminist criticismrecommendations, we made an analytical reading of 125 books. Although the progress has appeared, the presence of gender stereotypes is still evident.
